nice location but needs a few improvements
I enjoyed the spacious cottage. The separate rooms offered privacy for relaxation. The balcony view of the forest added a calming touch to the stay. The easy walk to downtown was perfect for enjoying local attractions.
The overall cleanliness could be improved.

The room was cool with central heating, television and a writing table.
Such a very nice stay on the first floor. Hip new hotel in a beautiful area adjacent to mammoth lakes and the center. Affable, helpful people working here. New building and rooms with 2 queen beds. Paid US$ 103.

A Cozy Getaway with Room for Improvement
The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff made a difference. A more diverse breakfast menu would enhance the experience. Consider nearby dining options for more variety. A nice retreat with potential.

Family with children, decent for what you get
We stayed in a chalet which was pretty cool, had a full kitchen and a nice back deck. The whole place was surrounded by beautiful trees, it seemed like we were in the middle of nature, which I really liked.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

noisy guests in room above, training staff when arrived and line was long. wish they had let the expert do it and then resumed training.

It was convenient to the heart of Nevada City. The setting is pleasant. The price of the room was reasonable.
While the room was clean, it had very very basic furnishings. I was told the swimming pool was closed for the winter - in the middle of August??? There's a lot of noise from the highway, but I had the fan running all night anyway which drowned out that noise.

I previously stayed in nevada city and found my experience pretty lackluster. This time, the peaceful setting among the trees and friendly staff really exceeded my expectations. The room was cozy and clean.
the heater took too long to warm up.
